PSLE

Hello everybody. This is the first time I am doing this after a while. The PSLE is finally over. It is now time to play non-stop. Now back on topic. The PSLE was like a rller coaster ride some thins were easy others were not. Now I am goini to show you MY road to PSLE.
PRE - PSLE : I spent 4 hours a day, every day, studying and doing worksheets.
My main focus in studying for each subjet was: English = Synthesis and Compehension, Maths = Everything and Science = Open-Ended/Paper 2.

PSLE : This was everything I had been working for. I wanted to study everything over and over again a day before each exam. I realised that it was too late to study anything now. I decided to relax everyday after each paper.

Post-PSLE : YEAH !!!! This is my favourite part because no there is lesser things to do. And to relax everyday and sleep non-stop. The only time stress will return is on the release of the papers. Until then all I can do is PRAY to get kind and generous markers.

God Bless,
Michael

Being Blind for an Hour

Well, being blind for an hour was difficult especially when I had to do work without knowing where the lines are. In school the person who would have been most affected was my partner in this case it was Davian. If I had to keep that blindfold on for the entire day my work would have been horribly messy. Walking around was quite difficult as I kept hitting tables and bags. I was probably most shocked was when Mr Tan asked me to sweep. He even tried to trick me, no wonder he is called " Baddie Tan ". While it was quite fun having to rely on my other senses I would like to keep my eyes the way they are. I know realize the importance of my eyes and my other senses. I think I will now start taking care of my eyes even better. That's all folks

Kindness

What is kindness. Is it helping an old man cross the street, giving up your chair in the bus to a pregnant woman or is it as simple as holding the door to let others in. Is it something we were taught to do or does it come naturally to us. Well, to me it is an important thing that without the world would come crumbling down. Some Singaporeans would give their seats up to someone in greater need than them. What about the rest to they really not care? Well some of them might be and the rest are too shy and afraid of people looking at them. That's all for now.

National Museum of Singapore

When I first heard of this trip I had expected it to be horribly boring. But, I was wrong the trip turned out to be quite fun. One of the differences from usual museums that I have been to was the "companion" this small device allows you to listen to information about the different displays. I think that one of the main reasons that this museum is important because it is to make sure that Singaporeans do not forget their ancestors and what Singapore was once and what it is now.I enjoyed the trip very much. What I like the most was the "companion". One of the things I learned about the Singapore's past was that it took a lot of more hard work to make Singapore to what it is now than I thought. That's all for now>

Earth Hour

Earth Hour is it a way to help the world or is it a way to get people to realize the current state of the Earth. Well that really depends on the way you look at it. Why is it only being held in Singapore now. While, Global Warming had been noted as a danger for years. Why are we only reacting now? During Earth Hour many played outdoors and some indoors. During Earth Hour I played some games and read some comics next to a candle. Global Warming to us is a threat that won't take more distressing effects for a long time. But, it has started taking effects. Global Warming has caused many ice caps to melt. Soon, all creatures that need the temperature of the arctic to survive will slowly start dying. One of the main problems that cause global warming is pollution. Everybody in the world is causing this. People have started creating "greener" ways of transport. Even, still this will only slow the end of the world as there people out there who still prefer using cars that give out lots of polluted air that is destroying the ozone layer. What will you do to help?

Class Test 1 Aftermath

Yeah! CA1 is over. I feel very sad. My scores for CA1 were way below my target. All the targets that I had set were not met. I had failed myself. I suppose that I should have studied harder instead of goofing around and playing games. I was very disappointed when I saw my results. I had scored he following Eng: 67.5/95 Math: 72/100 Sci: 76/100. I know they are extremely low. I am going to study harder for the coming SA1 exam. Even though my marks were very low at least I was above average.

That's all for now folks!

Reach For The Stars

These are my targets for PSLE

Eng:82
Math:87
Sci:92
Overall: 245

I will have to study hard to reach all my targets.
