Olympics

Citius, Altius and Fortius, is Latin for Faster,Higher and Stronger, this is the Olympic Motto .Well the Olympics was started 776 BC. There are lots of myths of the origin of the Olympics. The most famous of these myths is legend a, that Hercules built an Olympic stadium to honour his father Zeus. When the Olympics started 776 BC, it was held until AD 393. It started again around the mid-19th Century. I think that the Olympics is an important event in sport as, with the Olympics we are able to find out who in the entire Earth is the best in this sport. I have watched some of the events of the Olympics. The person that impresses me the most is Michael Phelps,who won 8th gold medals out of the 8 events he participated in. What was exciting is that he set 7 World Records and 1 Olympic Record. If I could participate in the Olympics, I would like to compete in the Tennis event. I would participate in tennis as it is exciting for me and its my favourite sport. My role model is Roger Federer, because he was the Number One tennis player in the whole world for quite a long time. I think the most important thing about organising the Olympics is that, with the it people do not have to argue about who the best in a certain sport is. Well so far America has the highest amount of medals won with 110 medals. Right behind America is China with 100 medals. That is quite close just 10 medals difference. Well that's all Bye Bye
